Land distributed to 35 lakh 56 thousand landless persons till July 17

Bhopal : July, 2018 : Land has been given to 35 lakh 56 thousand 45 landless people till July 17 under the Land Rights Campaign launched to provide land for houses to homeless people by the state government. The state government has also decided that if a person has constructed a building for residence and its related purpose before December 31, 2014, then the land will be allotted to him. In this regard, necessary amendments have been made in the Acts. This residential land area has been given in the declared area, in the declared population, in the non-interference land, administration of the Habitat Interference Act and in the urban areas under Pattadhriti rights.

Under the Land Rights Campaign 26 lakh 63 thousand 935 land pattas before January 1, 2018 and 8 lakh 92 thousand 110 pattas after January 1, 2018 have been distributed to eligible landless persons.

Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta has informed that after January 1, 2018, 1510 residential pattas have been distributed in Sheopur district, 301 in Morena, 49 thousand 850 in Bhind, 46 thousand 372 in Shivpuri, 6284 in Guna, 13 thousand 191 in Ashoknagar, 2200 in Datia, 34 thousand 83 in Dewas, 12 thousand 718 in Ratlam, 38 thousand 637 in Shajapur, 12 thousand 668 in Aagar, 23 thousand 417 in Mandsaur, 39 thousand 875 in Neemuch, 24 thousand 992 in Ujjain, 1065 in Indore, 5566 in Dhar, 2290 in Jhabua, 84 thousand 293 in Khargone, 12 thousand 427 in Badwani, 6805 in Burhanpur and 1247 in Alirajpur district.

Similarly residential pattas have been distributed to 8 thousand 441 landless persons in Bhopal district, 9 thousand 329 in Sehore, 59 thousand 956 in Raisen, 60 thousand 352 in Rajgarh, 50 thousand 730 in Vidisha, 5 thousand 137 in Betul, 446 in Hoshangabad, 21 thousand 964 in Harda, 8 thousand 230 in Sagar, 1 lakh 33 thousand 28 in Damoh, 3029 in Chhatarpur, 609 in Tikamgarh, 1259 in Panna, 6 thousand 620 in Jabalpur, 3 thousand 450 in Katni, 49 thousand 972 in Narsinghpur, 4 thousand 818 in Chhindwada, 1,699 in Mandla, 14 thosuand 531 in Dindori, 5 thousand 987 in Seoni, 2 thousand 820 in Balaghat, 9 thousand 452 in Rewa, one thousand 185 in Singrauli, 14 thousand 931 in Sidhi, 7 thousand 746 in Satna, 4 thousand 711 in Shahdol, 358 in Anuppur and to 16 thousand 298 landless persons in Umaria. The process of distribution of pattas to the remaining 7 lakh 99 thousand 700 landless persons is in progress.
