Insurance of Rs 5 lakhs to poor in Ayushman Bharat Yojana: CM Chouhan

Bhopal : June, 2018 : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that insurance will be provided to the poor and weaker sections of the state up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana to be implemented on Independence Day from August 15 in the country. Until the scheme is implemented, the poor sections of the state will get financial assistance from the Mukhya Mantri Swechhanudan Yojana. Inaugurating the Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana at the state-level during the labourers conference in Timarni of Harda district today, Chouhan said that one crore 82 lakh labourers of the state have got registered in the scheme. He said that the registered labourers will be provided benefits of various public welfare schemes of the state government.

Giving detailed information about the Sambal Yojana, Chief Minister Chouhan said that registration card will be given to registered beneficiaries. This card will help them take advantage of various schemes. He said that needy and poor families will be provided residential land pattas and made land owners besides pucca houses will be constructed for them on the land. Chouhan said that in the absence of government land in the urban area, the poor class will be provided house by constructing multi-storeyed buildings. The Chief Minister said that pucca houses will be constructed for those people have not been able to acquire permanent house in Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme under the Mukhya Mantri Antyodaya Awas Yojana. He said that the construction of houses is being completed in a phasewise manner.

Chouhan said that this year, one lakh youth will be provided loan for setting up different enterprises in the state. The state government will provide loans on its guarantee to the self-help groups and will also pay 3 percent interest on loan. He said that the state government would also help in the marketing of the products of these groups.

Monitoring committees to be made on gram panchayat and ward level

Chouhan informed that five-member committees will be made at gram panchayat and ward-level for monitoring of Sambal Yojana. Members of these committees will include 3 persons from the general category, one each from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and one woman member. This committee will be provided assistance by the Jan Abhiyan Parishad also. He said that the committee will provide assistance in availing benefits of various schemes to the labourers and their families in its work area and will check any kind of irregularity.

Colleges to open in Rehetgaon and Khirkiya

CM Chouhan announced at the labourer conference that Sirali will be given the status of Municipal Council and government colleges will be opened in Rehetgaon and Khirkiya tehsil. He told that in this area test will be conducted to set up a 132 KV electric sub-station. Tender process has been completed for Moran and Ganjal Irrigation Project. Soon, Timarni area will start getting irrigation facility from these projects. The Chief Minister performed bhoomi-pujan and dedicated construction works worth Rs 93 crore 12 lakh in Harda district on the occasion.

The Chief Minister distributed registration smart cards and benefits of various schemes to the registered labourers at the labourers conferemce. He honoured Misabandis with shawl-sriphal and tamra patra.
